We don’t like to assume, but we think it’s probably a safe bet that if you're on this website, you’re probably a fan of a good cocktail. And if it happens to be served to you by a world-class bar team making bespoke creations for some of the best and most exciting drinks brands in the world in a beautiful green oasis? We’re guessing that doesn’t hurt, either.

That’s exactly what you’ll find in three weekends in July, August and September as Cocktails in the City rolls into Bedford Square Gardens in Central London. As in previous years, its three events are placed throughout the summer, each of them showcasing a different theme, but all bringing some of London’s best bartending talent together with an array of outstanding spirits. The result is a celebration of mixed drinks like no other, and three dates to make sure you mark in your calendar.

This year’s festival celebrates ten years since Cocktails in the City was founded – a decade that’s seen pop-ups and weekend events in London and around the UK, with tens of thousands of the cocktail-curious sipping one-off drinks from some truly incredible venues and personalities. Not ones to mess with a good thing, this year’s will stick to the multi-weekend setup that’s proved so popular in the past, but adds in a Thursday-evening session that’s ideal for getting a few mates together in the sunshine, with bookings for eight or more available.

And beyond the cocktails and some delicious street food, there’s a programme of entertainment in the form of thought-provoking panel events as well as great live music, ice carving, shuffleboard and more. Although, if you simply plan on grabbing a set of deckchairs early doors and making your way through most of the weekend’s menu, we can’t say we’d blame you.

July's event is named Innovation & Discovery – a celebration of the progressive and inventive personalities and venues that make up the London drinks scene, with crossover cocktails from bars including Coupette, Disrepute and Homeboy.

Tickets are priced at £20 per person including a welcome drink
