In a lot of ways, making great craft beer is an art. Which is why we're wholeheartedly behind Tate Tap Takeover – a monthly celebration of some of Britain's best brewers that takes over Tate Modern's Terrace Bar on the last Thursday of every month. Full of great pours, paired pizzas and amazing interactive activities, it's the perfect way to expand your beer knowledge and meet some of the best brewers in the business.
This month's event will see seven of the UK's most forward-thinking breweries take over the taps for an end-of-year special on 29 November, pouring seven unique brews brewed specifically for the event, taking in all kinds of styles and flavour profiles.
Operating in association with Pigs Ears Beer's Beer + Art series, this is an all-out celebration of great brewing and cool label design.
The breweries involved are Wylam, Northern Monk, Track, Left Handed Giant, Deya, Verdant and North Brew Co.
Beyond the beer, there'll be commemorative art prints and postcards of each of the beers available to purchase on the night, too.
Like the sound of all that? Well you're in luck, because we're giving ten lucky Foodism Beer Club members two passes to the next Tate Tap Takeover, meaning they can head down and sample beer with a mate absolutely free. All you need to do is answer a simple question here
Each prize winner will receive two passes, entitling them and a friend to all seven third-pint pours of the beers available at the event, worth £17.95 per person.
