Not all supper clubs are created equal. Some take place in gardens, others in private dining rooms. Some serve up multi-course feasts, while others opt for large, sharing-style platters. Then there are their intentions: raising brand awareness, allowing up and coming chefs the space to develop a restaurant concept or, in the case of Refettorio Felix, raising money for charity.

Refettorio Felix provides restaurant-quality food using surplus ingredients, to vulnerable people, for free. It allows those who need it to be treated with respect and take refuge in a safe, judgement-free space. Food, and good food in particular, can be such a connecting thread among cultures and countries and it's something that should be universal, not just for the privileged few. These supper clubs, hosted by the charity, are integral to raising money to allow them to continue their work, with all proceeds going towards the daily running of the centre.

With the feast taking place on 10 November, your £90 ticket includes your meal, paired wine and participation in the live auction with some incredible prizes to be won, alongside music from pianist Vladyslav Kuznetsoff. In the kitchen you'll find head chef Iulia Nonu cooking up an incredible menu constructed entirely of surplus ingredients.
