Mae Jum is a family run business who specialise in producing traditional and authentic Thai herbs and spice pastes. Jum, founder of Mae Jum, was born and raised in a small town of Yan Ta Khao in the southern province of Trang, Thailand. Being one of the youngest of 8 children, Jum’s main household task was to gather fresh ingredients from the market after school and hand make a paste in time for dinner. Day after day, she mastered her skills and widened her recipe knowledge.

Jum moved to the UK in 1992 to marry her husband and start her own family. The idea of creating Mae Jum came about when Jum’s children went to university and, homesick and hungry, requested some delicious homemade curry pastes be mailed to them. Each new batch became an instant hit with them and their friends. Since then, Mae Jum now produces herb and spice pastes in Thailand, getting the freshest ingredients directly from farmers across the country.

Mae Jum’s range of pastes give the foundations to an array of Thai dishes for curries, soups and Pad Thai. Each pack can produce a meal for up to 6 people. Mae Jum’s pastes are 100% natural, gluten-free and vegan. They're also free from sugar, oil and any nasties.

Mae Jum’s current range includes Thai Green curry, Red curry, Yellow curry, Massaman curry, Panang curry, Jungle curry, Kua Kling curry, Tom Kha soup and Pad Thai paste.
