This July, Gaucho celebrates its 30th anniversary. The UK’s legacy steak restaurant has served the world’s best beef for three decades and over the next month the team are celebrating bringing the flavours and traditions of Latin American cuisine to the UK as part of Gaucho Restaurant Week. They are running an exclusive competition with Foodism and inviting you to gather your nearest and dearest and get people together for an epic feast.

To pay homage to Gaucho’s rich history, the restaurant group is unveiling a special nostalgic menu. This exclusive Legacy menu, available from 1st to 15th July, features iconic dishes that have defined Gaucho’s journey. The three-course menu will be available for just £30 and will be served with a heavily discounted £30 bottle of Malbec – 30 years, £30 menu and £30 wine.

Dish highlights from the vaults include its Ecuadorian Ceviche, first debuted in 2012, when Gaucho became the first restaurant group to bring the now-ubiquitous cured fish dish to London. It will be followed by Lomo a la Milanese – an Argentinian staple of high-quality steak served breadcrumbed in Milanese style, first served in 2008. The ever-popular Spatchcock Chimichurri Chicken from 2013 will also make a reappearance, cooked on the bone with the legendary Gaucho marinade. All will be rounded of with the OG Dulce de Leche Pancake – made with the same recipe that’s been in place since day one.

Founded in 1994, Gaucho opened its first restaurant in London Piccadilly, which remains Gaucho’s flagship. Since humble beginnings in the basement of the building – which was once the Spanish ambassador’s residence – it now occupies all four floors as a sprawling 320-cover restaurant. For the past 30 years Gaucho expanded across London and the UK, where it now has eight restaurants in the capital and 12 in England, Wales and Scotland.

Whether you’re a long time Gaucho fan, a lapsed acolyte to its legendary steak or looking to experience a whole-new dining experience, book in today to sample the £30 Legacy menu in any of its 20 sites.
