Brought to you by the de Visschers household, The Seafood Bar launches this month in the heart of London's restaurant scene on the iconic Dean Street, Soho. This is the first international venture outside the Netherlands, bringing Londoners the freshest seafood without the high price tag.

Sustainability is at the heart of what this family-run, award-winning, restaurant does. The de Visschers have huge respect for the environment and maintain close relationships with producers to ensure all seafood is sourced ethically and sustainably.

Most recently, The Seafood Bar partnered with Nordic Blu to source the world's most sustainably farmed salmon. The founding family not only looks to contribute to the preservation of healthy fish stocks by sourcing sustainably, they are also making other changes to minimise the restaurants' environmental impact. The restaurants run on wind energy, and the group's zero-waste policy means that no fish goes to waste.

Whether you are looking to relax over a leisurely lunch or take front row seats at the open kitchen for dinner, there's an area in the restaurant for every dining occasion. As dusk falls, the basement becomes a buzzing bar.

What you could win

You could be in with the chance of winning dinner for you and two guests at The Seafood Bar. Dinner will include a fruits de mer platter, a mixed grill, two fingerfood dishes and a bottle of Ruinart Brut champagne – altogether worth more than £250.

The restaurants live by the 'Lekkerbek' philosophy (what might seem simple on the outside, is complicated on the inside), with simple dishes on the menu that allows the fish to speak for itself.

Enjoy the celebrated and decadent 'fruits de mer' platter which features lobster, North Sea crab, razor clams, langoustines and more, while the mixed grill is a feast of lobster, shrimp, slip sole, king prawn, salmon and seabass fillet.

An array of quality wines from across the world are perfectly paired with The Seafood Bar menu, including Ruinart champagne, Austrian grüner veltliner, and provençal rosé wines.
