I don't know about you, but most of our friends seem to be on holiday this summer. Many have swarmed to Europe en masse, lounging on Mediterranean beaches, sipping rosé poolside and partying til the early hours at music festivals around the continent. Others have headed further afield, to shiny Los Angeles, or for the lucky few, to the lime-scented shores or vibrant cities of Mexico.

But if your summer plans entail staying closer to home this summer, never fear – PATRÓN is bringing Mexico to you, with this one-off event in celebration of national Paloma week. You know the one – the lip-puckering, grapefruit-filled refreshing tequila cocktail with its recognisable peachy hue. Well, keep that colour in mind, because it will be front and centre at this dinner, where the Vintry & Mercer rooftop will be transformed into a sunset utopia, celebrating the iconic colour palette and flavours of the Paloma.

The four-course meal will come courtesy of chef-patron of Michelin-starred Restaurant Story, Tom Sellers, who will be serving up an innovative menu with dishes like compressed melon and caviar with a tequila gel, and a colourful butter poached cod, citrus vierge and grapefruit sabayon main course. Designed to pair perfectly with a paloma cocktail, it will be the perfect bright, refreshing a joyous summer meal to accompany an absolute modern classic long drink.

Of the menu, Sellers says: "Inspired by the tastes, hues, and aromas of the iconic PATRÓN Paloma, The Feast of Colour will tell the story of summer by using seasonal British ingredients to elevate the cocktail into an immersive occasion. Meticulous craftsmanship is at the heart of everything we do at our Restaurant Story, and we’ve brought this same commitment and passion to celebrate PATRÓN Paloma Week."

Whether you're there for world-class food, iconic tequila cocktails or a little bit of both, this is one not to miss.
