Add to calendarWhether it's the beautiful rums from Barbados's big-hitting distilleries, the rich and sweet expressions from Latin America or new and under-the-radar blenders and bottlers from the UK, our love for rum shows no sign of stopping.
And why should it? The diversity, quality and character of this truly global spirit makes itself clear to anyone who drinks it – whether neat, in a tiki cocktail or otherwise.
That's why we're excited for the latest edition of RumFest this October. Following its triumphant post-pandemic return in 2021, the festival will return to Earl's Court this autumn, bringing one of the best line-ups of rum to be found anywhere in the UK to one place, as well as education and inspiration from some of the true titans of the rum industry.
The festival is the flagship event of London Rum Week, which sees bars and restaurants all over the capital put together events, activations and one-off cocktails showcasing some beautiful rums from around the tropics. RumFest, meanwhile, brings together some truly special bottles – including the event's signature Golden Tots – tokens priced at a fiver each that grant access to rums worth £80 and over by the glass, allowing guests to try some old, rare and otherwise extra-special liquids.

Founder of RumFest Ian Burrell is an experienced and acclaimed rum ambassador
Meanwhile, there'll be loads to keep rum lovers fed, watered and entertained throughout the Saturday and Sunday, from some excellent food vendors to pop-up cocktail bars, alongside the festival's famous Carnival Hour – think dancers, infectious rhythms, and you've got the idea. It all adds up one of the can't-miss drinks events in the calendar. We'll see you there.
RumFest takes place from 12pm-5pm on Saturday and 12pm-4pm on Sunday. Ticket prices start at £45 on the Saturday and £35 on the Sunday, which includes a tasting glass, a show brochure, access to free masterclasses and all samples at the show aside from Golden Tot rums
