Amanda Brame

Amanda Brame works at Petersham Nurseries Covent Garden site as Head of Horticulture an where her twin passions for plants and food make for an exciting partnership.

Having trained with the RHS, Amanda feeds her love of generous, intensely seasonal garden planting by creating her own gardens and consulting on garden design. Constant experimentation and trialling new vegetable varieties and growing techniques on her allotment have brought food and flowers to the table, and have allowed her to hone her expertise over the years.

All these experiences have helped her create and deliver a unique series of workshops at the Petersham Nurseries School of Garden Inspiration. Courses on planning for the Kitchen Garden and the Cutting Garden are offered season by season, side by side with 'How to Create a Cottage Garden' or border masterclasses, all of which reflect Petersham Nurseries' organic and sustainable credentials and its reputation as a seedbed of inspiration.
