Brindisa has been part of the Balham community for over 25 years, ever since they first moved into a warehouse on Weir Road, now also home to their offices. Eight years ago, they opened our doors on Hildreth Street, a lively pedestrianised market street in the heart of Balham and have been catering to your speciality food needs ever since. In 2023, they remodelled the shop, introducing a beautiful five-metre deli counter and our traditional hand-operated charcuterie slicer, a centrepiece that brings a touch of theatre and craftsmanship to our service. The focus has always been on great food with incredible flavours, often hand-made by small producers. The shelves and counter are filled with Brindisa’s Spanish favourites, including artisan cheeses, olives, and charcuterie sliced to order, alongside a thoughtful selection of exceptional UK artisan produce. The friendly, knowledgeable team are always on hand with a warm welcome, ready to share recommendations, tell the stories behind their producers, and offer tastings of our artisan cheeses and charcuterie to help you discover new favourites.
