Last week, the great and the good of the hospitality industry gathered against the glamorous background of Grosvenor House to celebrate the winners of the prestigious AA Hospitality Awards, with 23 accolades across 11 categories.
The event recognises and rewards the services supplied by the best UK establishments, and also marks the launch of the latest AA guides.
Multi-Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton's Sosharu scooped London's restaurant of the year, while Sketch received the Wine Award, and the Ritz Restaurant received the Food Service Award.
Sosharu, under the direction of chef Alex Craciun, has only been open for seven months, making this an even greater feat.
Elsewhere, three London restaurants nabbed the accolade of having five AA rosettes – Hélène Darroze at The Connaught, Tom Sellers of Restaurant Story, and Pollen Street Social, which also belongs to Jason Atherton's stable.
