Dinner by Ben pop-up at Albie at The Hoxton Southwark

You may have seen his face on the Mob Instagram. Perhaps you have cooked one of his recipes. Potentially, you've even lathered a slice of pizza in his iconic, NYC-inspired spicy honey, Dr Sting's. However Ben Lippett, best known by his Instagram handle @dinnerbyben, came into your consciousness, we're sure he's made an impression. 

Ben's flavour-driven, ingredient-led recipes have brought a refreshing feel to the recipe selection on Mob, profiling bold flavours, unique techniques and an affinity for spice – all three of which feature on his menu at Albie.

While we love Mob here at Foodism, sometimes we get a serious dose of food envy, wishing we could be in the test kitchen ourselves, eating the incredible things their recipe testers cook up. This one-night only pop-up lets you do almost that, albeit in the comfort of the gorgeous Albie restaurant at The Hoxton Southwark. 

Sure to blow away any cobwebs, the fiery menu features spice throughout, from the first course of oysters with green Tabasco, to the popcorn mussels with Szechuan pepper and even the dessert – an ice cream sandwich lathered in his very own Dr Sting's Hot Honey. The best part? The entire menu has been specially paired with beers from Camden Brewery.
