To achieve three Michelin stars is something most chefs can only dream of. To obtain those three stars and then retain for almost half a century is another level altogether. The Waterside Inn in Bray is this year celebrating 40 years of holding onto three Michelin stars, a mighty feat that deserves a particularly special meal to honour it.
And a special meal is exactly what Chef Alain Roux has organised. On the 25th of September he will be joined at The Waterside Inn by Michel & César Troisgros from Troisgros restaurant in Ouches in France which has maintained its three Michelin stars for a whopping 57 years. As the third and fourth generations of the legendary Troisgros family, they are custodians of a true French culinary legacy. The three chefs are joined by pâtissier-chocolatier chef, David Paganel from Geneva, who will be having a homecoming of sorts as he trained under Michel Roux OBE at The Waterside Inn in 1986.
