Japan Week is all about celebrating everything great about Japanese food and drink; incorporating the intricate and exciting facets of Japanese cuisine into the Western styles of cooking you might be more familiar with. To celebrate the occasion of Japan Week, Adam Byatt's Clapham neighbourhood favourite, Bistro Union, will play host to guest chef Yoshiko Wada for three days of excellent eating and drinking from 30 September to 2 October.

Wada will join the team at Bistro Union to create a very special one-off menu priced at a super reasonable £50 per person. Wada grew up in Tokyo before moving to London at the age of 19. Having discovered her love of food at an early age, often watching her mother and grandmother cook elaborate meals in the family kitchen, Wada started her own catering business, Ritsuko & Co in 2007. She's still known today for her fantastic pop-up dinners and this opportunity to see what magic she can whip up in Bistro Union's kitchen is one you won't want to miss.
