How does an event that involved a killer Japanese-inspired menu, ice-cold sake and two hours of education from one of the best experts in the business, all held at the excellent M Restaurants, sound like it went down to you? Rather good? Yep. This collaboration between Foodism and M Restaurants was equal parts educational and delicious.
Guests enjoyed juicy Iberico pork expertly paired with kimchi and yuzu to make a fusion dish, plus fresh sashimi for starter and white chocolate for dessert. Plus, all that was paired together with some seriously tasty, authentic Japanese sake, and expert insight from sake expert and Japan Week ambassador Raul Diaz on how it's best enjoyed and when you should be ordering it next. Did we come out of the event full and enlightened? You bet your bottom dollar we did.
