Even for those who live here, it's undeniable that London's a pretty big city. So big in fact, that even if you wanted to, you couldn't possibly eat at every single restaurant in London (and believe us, we've tried).

That's why at this time of year, we're grateful when Taste of London rolls around and brings some of the best of the capital's food culture to Regent's Park for a long weekend of genre-topping eating and drinking. And with the tempestuousness of the last couple of years now behind us, this year's festival is set to be bigger and better than ever, and to celebrate a hospitality industry in the midst of a thrilling resurgence.

So with that in mind, what's on offer?

Feast on Spanish bites from Bibo, the London restaurant by iconic Spanish chef Dani García, or head along to the Brindisa tent for a range of genre-topping tapas. Meanwhile, Dalston favourite Angelina will be serving up its raved about Japanese-Italian fusion plates, and there's no better place to skip the queues for Roti King’s bricks-and-mortar restaurant and grab one of its signature laksa’s or rendangs – just don’t forget the flakey roti to mop it up with.

Getting full just thinking about it? We’re not even half-way done, so buckle up. Adejoké Bakaré of Chishuru will be cooking up for the Just Eat Daily Special, while thanks to a partnership with Be Inclusive Hospitality, a number of the capital’s best Black chefs will be joining her, including Delroy Dixon of Rhythm Kitchen and Akwasi Brenya-Mensa, who'll be taking on the role of head chef at Tatale in the Africa Centre when it hopes in a few months.

Still hungry? Good. In that case, follow your nose to the Food Network Fire Pit for flame-grilled food from rapper turned foodie Big Zuu, Mayfair's modern British restaurant Fallow, leading live-fire expert Genevieve Taylor, and pastrami connoisseur Jay Morjaria.

Don’t worry, there’ll be loads to whet the whistle with too: Aspall Cyder House will be serving up crisp glasses of the good stuff, Schweppes Bar will have G&Ts at the ready to sip while you browse, and The Kitchen Theory x The Juice Lab bar will have you testing your science skills.

Phew, we’re getting hungry just thinking about it. Be sure to arrive with an empty stomach.
