Heading to Taste of London this summer? There are lots of reasons to visit the biggest food festival of the year, where the city’s top restaurants, bars, and drinks brands gather for four days of live entertainment and as much food and drink as you can stomach.

One pop-up we’re keeping a particularly close eye on is the new Glendalough bar, serving up an especially chilled twist. Start with a round of its iconic frozen Irish Coffees, and it only gets better from there.

The bar comes from Glendalough Distillery, a premium Irish brand from the Wicklow Mountains, on a mission to provide some of the most distinctive and thought-provoking drinks around. The distillery is behind some world-first innovations, such as Irish single malt whiskey aged in rare Japanese Mizunara oak, Irish single malt whiskey aged in Wicklow Irish oak, and a range of distinctive Irish gins distilled from fresh, handpicked wild botanicals.

At Taste, it will be serving up premium cocktails. As well as the coffees, expect the likes of frozen gin mango spritz, and a Giffard ‘tweak your tipple’ section where you can customise your gin and tonics. You will also be able to sample some of its unique small-batch whiskies. As a bonus, every purchase from the bar comes with a Glendalough cap, as stylish as it is useful in keeping the sun at bay – especially helpful when sitting back and relaxing in the bar's own suntrap.

So, whether you’ve already gotten your Taste of London ticket or are ready to hit purchase, we suggest you head straight for the frozen Irish Coffees at the Glendalough bar.
