Nespresso Creatista | Weapons of Choice

Want to make barista-quality coffee at home at the touch of button? We get to grips with Sage's new Nespresso Creatista

Breville's Nespresso Creatista

Some people love that process of making coffee – the grinding of the beans, the tapping, the journey towards the perfectly frothy milk and the knee tremble at the mere sight of the crema. You know who you are.

Some people, though, just don’t have the patience for that, but don’t want to hand their hard-earned dime to the big old coffee company round the corner. Step up the new Nespresso Creatista, the latest coffee machine from Sage, which comes with its very own automated milk-frothing system, allowing you to make your morning macchiato from the comfort of your own kitchen.

And very comfortable it is too, because this machine (along with looking very slick) is so easy to use even your luddite nan would know what to do. Wait the allocated 10-second heat up time (how quick?!), insert your capsule and turn the dials to select your coffee type – then let the steam wand whip up the milk to the correct temperature, volume and texture for your preferred drink. So easy, so good.
