Dreaming of rustic feasts, rolling hills and long Italian evenings? While a spontaneous flight to Florence might not be on the cards, we’ve found the next best thing.

This autumn, Foodism has teamed up with Thames & Hudson to offer one lucky winner the chance to savour the warmth, flavour and romance of Tuscany without even leaving London. It’s a prize package that blends food, travel, culture and a touch of kitchen style, designed to transport you straight to a candlelit table in the heart of Italy. Think bowls of pasta served family-style, wine that flows as easily as the conversation and recipes that warm you from the inside out.

At the heart of the prize is Winter in Tuscany, the brand-new cookbook from Amber Guinness. Raised in Italy, Amber has built her reputation on celebrating conviviality and seasonal cooking, and her new book is an ode to Tuscan kitchens during the cosier months.

Expect hearty pastas, roasts rich with local produce, simple desserts and plenty of quanto basta – the intuitive Italian approach of 'just enough'. It’s the kind of book that makes you want to invite friends round immediately, fill the table with food and let the evening stretch on for hours.

To make things even more delicious, the prize also includes a dinner for two at Nipotina Ristorante in Mayfair, where Turin-born chef Somaia Hammad brings traditional Italian recipes to life with simple, seasonal ingredients and the kind of flavours that could have come straight from nonna’s kitchen.

And because no Tuscan feast is complete without beautiful cookware, Falcon Enamelware’s iconic bake set will be heading home with the winner too – ready to take centre stage in your own kitchen.
