In celebration of Mount Gay's brand new limited edition Pot Still Rum, we teamed up with that very distillery for an event set to celebrate innovation in the food and drinks world.
The evening featured a panel talk from an esteemed group of food and drinks experts including Mount Gay's new master blender Trudiann Branker, as well as Ed Templeton, co-founder of Carousel, and drinks writer Abbie Moulton. All three talked about the changing face of the industry, the routes into food and drink that have opened up for young, modern and innovative personalities, and their personal experiences of hospitality from the inside.
Alongside this informative and entertaining conversation, guests were treated to a welcome cocktail, complimentary canapés and an exclusive opportunity to sample the new Pot Still Rum once the talk has wound down.
The rum is available exclusively at Selfridges from 14 October until 4th November.
