On Thursday 23 January, South Indian restaurant Ooty will host an exclusive vegan supper club in collaboration with chef, restaurateur and food writer Romy Gill MBE.
Gill will join forces with Ooty’s executive chef Manmeet Singh Bali for one night only. Priced at £55, the 6-course menu will showcase Romy's vegan recipes, including her signature samosas chaat with sweet chutney and coconut yoghurt, featured in her ZAIKA cookbok. These bangers will sit alongside vegan takes on Ooty’s classic south Indian-inspired dishes, developed by chef Manmeet for the event.
Romy and Manmeet’s menu will be paired alongside Ooty’s extensive selection of teas, vegan wines and no-ABV cocktails, including the Silver Tip Sling (jasmine tea, pineapple juice, amarena cherry syrup, fresh lime and soda) and the Masala Chaya Martini (Seedlip 94, masala chaya blend, condensed milk and pomegranate). molasses.
Romy will be present on the evening to welcome guests and talk about her chef career and book, ZAIKA, which will be available to purchase on the night.
