There are plenty of reasons to reach for a bottle without alcohol. Maybe you are taking a break, alternating between alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, or simply fancy something different. What there shouldn't have to be is a compromise on what is in the glass.
That is the thinking behind Noughty, created by Amanda Thomson of Thomson & Scott. A lifelong lover of wine, Thompson wanted to make a non-alcoholic bottle that still felt like part of the occasion: something you would be happy to open around the dinner table, pour for friends or take along to a celebration.
The result is a range of premium non-alcoholic sparkling and still wines, made with the same sense of occasion as their alcoholic counterparts. Noughty has since become a favourite for people choosing to drink differently, without giving up the food, conversation and ritual that come with a good bottle of wine.
The story has also earned Amanda some serious recognition. At the 2025 Drinks Business Awards, she was named Entrepreneur of the Year, a fitting nod to the work that went into changing perceptions of what non-alcoholic wine can be.
Now there is another way to get closer to the world of Noughty: Club Noughty, a membership program where members get 10% pricing on recurring orders, as well as seasonal entertaining ideas, food and wine pairing guides, curated collections, restaurant and travel recommendations, early access to collaborations and experiences, and birthday and anniversary rewards.
