When the cold nights drawn in, Glen Moray Classic is the perfect companion for a night in. Light the fire (or the candles) and relax with your loved ones at this special time of year, with this twist on a whisky sour that’s easy to create at home
Serves 1
Preparation time 5 mins
Ingredients
50ml Glen Moray Classic
25ml lemon juice
3 tsp caster sugar
1 dash bitters
1 small piece of fresh ginger
1 piece of lemongrass
1 egg white
Orange twist to garnish
Method
Add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker or mixing glass.
Stir with ice.
Strain into a chilled martini glass.
Garnish with orange twist.
The Partridge in a Pear Tree

Glen Moray Classic’s fruity notes are accented by green tea in this mellow serve. If you’re serving a crowd, make up a jug in advance and store in the fridge.
Ingredients
50ml Glen Moray Classic
Dash of lemon juice
A cup of apple and pear green tea, cooled and sweetened to your taste
Slices of fresh pear to garnish
Method
Pour the whisky into a cocktail glass and top up with the tea.
Add a dash of lemon juice.
Garnish with the pear.
The Classic with Company
There’s nothing better than a night in or out with friends over the festive season and a warming whisky cocktail is the perfect way to start or end your evening. Why not try ordering an Old Fashioned whisky cocktail, or mixing one up yourself?
Serves 1
Preparation time 5 mins
Ingredients
50ml Glen Moray Classic
1 sugar cube
2 pieces of orange peel
2 cocktail cherries
3 dashes Angostura bitters
1 tsp water
Ice cubes
Method
Take one piece of orange peel, squeeze it to express the zest and then rub the peel around the inside of a whisky tumbler.
Muddle the sugar cube, bitters and water in the tumbler until smooth.
Add the cherries, with 3 ice cubes.
Add half the whisky and stir well.
Top the glass up with ice cubes and add the remaining whisky.
