Personally, we wouldn't shake a martini. But then again, we're not James Bond, and even though he's fictional, he's meant to be much sleeker, more sophisticated and slightly more dangerous than us, so we'll let him have his way.

American Bar's head bartender Erik Lorincz has been advising the drinks team on the Bond films for years, and this year he's created the official Bond cocktail, entitled simply Spectre, to accompany the recent release of Daniel Craig's last film in the franchise. Learn to make it below.

Ingredients

  • 45ml Belvedere vodka
  • 10ml Kirsch eau de vie
  • 10ml yuzu juice
  • 15ml lemon Verbana cordial
  • 20ml lime juice
  • Avocado oil

Method

Shake all the ingredients (except the avocado oil) and strain into a coupette glass. Garnish with 3 drops of the oil.
