WHAT'S THE DRAW: Head chef Louis Solley pays tribute to his East London Jewish roots with a menu full of Ashkenazi and Middle Eastern small plates.
WHAT TO DRINK: Quality, not quantity, is the focus – Jago nails a compact cocktail and beers menu, and a thoughtfully put-together wine list backs it up.
WHAT TO EAT: We wouldn't usually advise filling up on snacks, but fruity, chewy boquerones are ridiculously moreish, as is salami with cornichons. Moving onto the mains, the salt beef and chrain – a classic Yiddish beetroot and horseradish relish – is a revelation.
