What's the draw
A classic, wallet-busting, Michelin-starred paradise tucked away in Soho. At times jaw-dropping French haute cuisine, and possibly the best open kitchen/bar combo in central London. Needless to say, we really liked it.

We're suckers for a whisk(e)y cocktail, and the one we had on the terrace – the Willy Woody, made with William pear eau de vie (the Willy) and Woodford Reserve (the Woody) with honey and lemon – hit the spot. What to eat
What not to eat would be a shorter list. You're in tasting menu territory (the pre-starter and pre-dessert don't even count as courses), so have a light lunch. We particularly loved seared fois gras with rhubarb, Sologne Imperial caviar on salmon tartar (with an actual flake of gold on top) and confit veal cheek. It was a triumph, and up there with the best meals we've had in London.
