What's the draw
This Motcomb Street relic is a slice of old-school Chelsea glamour, which serves up seasonal British fare in its lavish first-floor dining room.
What to drink
Wine, wine, wine. We had a cracking Burgundy pinot noir with our country terrine starter, and mixed things up with a 2004 Sauternes to accompany a delicious cheese board to finish.
What to eat
The scallops and black pudding with cauliflower purée, the best dish we tried, was a revelation; and the shortrib with salt-baked celeriac was melt-in-the-mouth and bursting with flavour.
