Worship Street Whistling Shop's Camelia Spritz

A camelia spritz is possibly the most ladylike cocktail we've heard of, but it's delicious nonetheless. Here's the recipe from Worship Street Whistling Shop.

Worship Street Whistling Shop is well-known for its incredible cocktail menu, where you'll see all sorts of weird ingredients such as goat's cheese-infused vodka and duck fat-washed cider. 

They've developed their recipes uses cutting-edge liquid preparation techniques such as cryo-infusion, in-house fermentation and pressure distillation to create it's incredible menu, but if that all sounds a bit too much for you to do at home, they've given us a simplified set of instructions for their camelia spritz.

Ingredients

Ice cubes

  • 1l water
  • 6 bags green tea
  • 200g celery

Cocktail

  • 50 ml Tanqueray
  • 20 ml Kombu sake
  • 15 ml lime juice
  • 5 ml simple syrup

Method

  1. To make the ice cubes, cut the celery into chunks and put all the ingredients into an ice cube container and let it sit for 24 hours in the the freezer.
  2. Bottle all the other ingredients in a soda syphon and charge it with a soda charger. 
  3. Let it chill in the fridge for at least six hours. 
  4. To serve, pour the drink into a glass coupe and add the ice cubes.
